Operating under the Republic of Sri Lanka and with sponsorship support from Kuwait, a significant humanitarian gesture was made through the official handing over of free drinking water tanks and a sustainable water supply system to the Welimada Army Camp. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Security Forces at the request of Chief Major JHAP Jayawardena RSP.
The event was held at the Welimada Army Camp with the participation of the project’s sponsors, local coordinators, and development partners. During the ceremony, Chief Major Jayawardena presented a commemorative monument to honor the contributions made toward uplifting essential infrastructure and supporting community welfare efforts.
This project marks yet another milestone in the broader development efforts being implemented across the country, with a focus on ensuring clean water access, improving living conditions, and fostering strong civil-military cooperation in nation-building.
