Championing Justice & Human Rights
The International Voice for Human Rights Development (IVHRD) is a pioneering initiative spearheaded by the Institute of International Diplomacy (IID), dedicated to advancing and safeguarding human rights worldwide. With an unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and human dignity, this initiative serves as a global platform to amplify marginalized voices, foster international cooperation, and develop concrete strategies for addressing pressing human rights challenges.
In an era marked by increasing human rights violations, political conflicts, and socio-economic inequalities, IVHRD stands as a beacon of hope and action, ensuring that fundamental human rights principles are not just theoretical concepts but practical realities for all. IOM, UN Secretariat, UN Women, FAO, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, WFP, and WHO have joined forces to develop the UN Partner Portal, a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to engage with the UN on partnership opportunities for the benefit of those we serve. The Portal is designed to facilitate a harmonized, efficient and easy collaboration between the UN and partners.
The UN Partner Portal is an official online platform developed by key UN agencies such as UNICEF, UNHCR, UNFPA, and WFP to manage and strengthen partnerships with non-governmental organizations and civil society groups. It serves as a centralized system where organizations can register, submit their credentials, and participate in partnership opportunities with the United Nations.
The portal promotes transparency, accountability, and streamlined collaboration by standardizing how partners are assessed and engaged. The registration of International Voice for Human Rights Development (IVHRD) on the UN Partner Portal signifies that the organization has met essential criteria required by the United
Nations for partnership. This includes validation of legal status, organizational capacity, financial accountability, and alignment with humanitarian or development goals. Being listed on the portal affirms IVHRD’s credibility and positions it as a trusted and eligible partner for future collaborations with UN agencies.
